Spring and fall weddings are both so dreamy and look no further than Owl Ridge Wedding Venue for a jaw-droppingly beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. We’ve been so fortunate to document a couple weddings at Owl Ridge and they’ve been incredible! We love the versatility that an Owl Ridge wedding offers for couples—it’s a perfect mix of woodsy and modern with indoor and outdoor options. Being surrounded by acres of beautiful woods gives a cozy, outdoor feel for a nature-centered ceremony along with an outdoor patio with a stone fireplace. There’s also a clean, modern indoor area for the reception with lots of windows that look outside.

Hannah + Bo Weller’s fall wedding day showed so much of who they are as a couple. Their day focused on the two of them, the love they have for one another, and the adventures to come. It was tender and sweet, yet fun and full of life. Hannah + Bo, thank you for letting us share in your wedding day and document your love story through photos.

“Ashley & Jonathan are fun and great to work with! We worked with Ashley & Jonathan for our wedding day and a mini-engagement session before the big day to get more comfortable with them and their style. They are both so fun and personable – I’ve never had such a great time with a photography duo before! Ashley has such a passion for photography that really shines throughout each session – she oohs and ahhs at sweet moments, skips with excitement when she’s nailed a shot, and always makes sure that the subject matter shines and feels comfortable. I can’t imagine working with anyone else for our big day or for our needs in the future.”

Hank + Carrie Spencer’s Cinco de Mayo wedding day was filled with intention and making memories. It was truly a day of laughter, authenticity, celebration, love, and good company. They wanted every moment captured—not over-glamorized, but “with all imperfections captured. Like a 90s family video.” Hank + Carrie, thank you for trusting us to capture photo and video of your wedding day!

“The best decision I made was choosing the Vallosios for my wedding. So organized and so kind. Listened to what we wanted and remembered – even if you sent her something random from Instagram. The photos told the story but the video truly brought the day back to life. It was important to me that I can hire one person to do both photo and video so everything was coordinated. Vallosio Photo + Film 100% delivered. Excited to look at these pics and videos for the rest of our lives!”

Outdoor Weddings Venue

Hannah + Bo

Hannah + Bo’s wedding day went so smoothly—shoutout to Owl Ridge and to All in the Details. Jonathan and I are all about being organized and have lists on lists when we prepare for our couples’ big days. All of this to say that organization makes a world of difference in how a wedding day goes! When a wedding day is organized, it can still be chill. That is exactly what Hannah + Bo’s day was—as the couple got ready, everything was very calm and joyful.

When it was time for Hannah + Bo’s first look, you could feel the excitement between these two. Bo had no idea that Hannah was going to have a red skirt on her wedding dress and he LOVED it. They were full of smiles towards each other.

The fireplace was the perfect spot for H + B’s family portraits and worked well for their grandparents because they had a place to sit between photos. It was an easy location for the family to find, it was shaded from the sun, and the stone fireplace was a pretty backdrop.

Their outdoor ceremony was a scene out of a picture book. Combine the autumn colors of the trees with the sounds of a soft breeze and leaves rustling for a recipe for fall perfection. Not to mention, love was in the air as Hannah + Bo exchanged their personalized vows through teary eyes.

Ending the evening with a bonfire and a full s’mores bar was beyond perfect for H + B’s fall wedding in October. Guests loved it and the night was perfect with crisp evening temps.

Spring Outdoor Wedding

Carrie + Hank

Hank + Carrie had a magical spring wedding ceremony. From the bright green leaves on the trees to the beautiful sunshine-it was full of life. H + C exchanged personalized vows with lots of laughter and some heartfelt tears. They even had one of their best friends officiate their beautiful ceremony.

It was important to Hank + Carrie to be able to enjoy cocktail hour outside with their guests and they did just that! With all their photos taken care of before the ceremony, there was plenty of time for them to mingle with their favorite people.

H + C had their first dance choreographed and it was so beautiful! You could tell by their smiles that they had a lot of fun dancing together and their guests loved watching their first dance.

Who doesn’t love a champagne tower?! To kick this off, Hank + Carrie used a customized champagne saber to pop open the first bottle with their wedding party. From there, they poured all the bubbly and had a photo with everyone around it before grabbing their glasses.

We will 100% always recommend sunset portraits for every couple on their wedding. This was built into Hank + Carrie’s day and we had the best lighting. Not to mention, this allows for 15-30 minutes together to enjoy a lovely sunset together. Who doesn’t enjoy a gorgeous, peaceful sunset moment?

When it was time to party, Hank + Carrie’s guests were all about dancing! Turn It Up Sound Productions was great for getting everyone on their feet and playing great music all night.
